Alisa has written extensively on the topic of progressive Christianity and the realm of deconstruction in the Christian faith. This journey was set in motion by her own personal faith crisis that she recounts and reflects on in her first book Another Gospel? Through the Lord’s mercy to her by means of the holy scriptures, biblical ministers, and the writing of the Church fathers, her faith was rebuilt and is even stronger now than before. She has gone on to write Live Your Truth and Other Lies: Exposing Popular Deceptions That Make Us Anxious, Exhausted, and Self Obsessed and The Deconstruction of Christianity: What it Is, Why Its Destructive, and How to Respond. You are invited to join us as she shares more of her story, teaches on the tenants and dangers of progressive Christianity, and encourages us to cling to the historic Christian faith once passed down to all believers.
